Make Hempstead Turnpike Safer to Cross
Recently, we lost yet another Levittown resident, and a young one at that. We need to make Hempstead Turnpike a safer place to cross. Maybe they can install an overhead crosswalk like they have near Hofstra in an attempt to keep people from being killed at the intersection of Hempstead Turnpike and Division Avenue. It would make the intersection a lot safer for pedestrians.
